With its premium 5-leg design and toughened safety glass, the Rome MMT-P5CCH1250 tv stand is built to hold flat-screen LCD LED TVs up to 55 inches in size. The oil rig-style glass TV stand looks great in just about every abode and this model with the two front, and three rear supports is one of the most stable designs on the market. Ideal for children’s bedrooms, conservatories and living rooms, this contemporary piece of AV furniture will enhance any room in the home.

The top shelf of the stand features 8mm toughened safety glass enabling it to support an impressive 80kg in weight. 5mm toughened safety glass is used for the 2 lower equipment shelves which are able to support 30kg, making them ideal for heavy home cinema amplifiers.

Built-in cable management to the rear centre leg enables all the connections and cables to be hidden behind the centre pillar, ensuring a neat and professional-looking installation. Chrome steel legs will not mark or scratch and should last a lifetime. Tension rod construction on all the legs ensures that once this unit is built you have no maintenance, the legs will not work loose. This is the reason for paying extra for a TV unit that uses tension rod construction, as the unit is both extra strong and maintenance-free.

ROME MMT CLEAR GLASS TV STAND

This stand replaced a smaller version I have owned for a number of years. The Rome MMT TV stand is perfect for my current AV and TV set up. It is well built and enhances the living room as a piece of contemporary AV furniture. Instructions were clear to understand and it did not take long to put the unit together. The only word of caution to note is that this unit has a cable management system built into the back of the unit. Unfortunately for owners of large AV receivers which have a depth greater than 450 mm it will be necessary to remove the cable management fixture from the rear of the TV stand otherwise access to receiver inputs is difficult and it may not sit properly on the shelf.

Excellent glass table

Correct screw for the arrived after we had built it, with difficulty. But looks excellent. Seems high quality. It is large enough for 55in screen.

Excellent Value

Although less expensive than other TV stands, it's well up to the job. The glass shelves are substantial and well cut. The leg tubes are quite thin but seem perfectly able to support the weight. My shipment had an incorrectly packed fixing but MMT posted a replacement immediately so you can have confidence in the supplier too.
